Abstract [sv]

Abstract [en]

As a result of the project “A National Strategy for Standardisation of Digital Information Management within the Built Environment”, this report describes the framework of the strategy. The responsibility of the framework, maintenance and the update will be handled by the newly created Samhällsbyggandets Regelforum. Samhällsbyggandets Regelforum aims to contribute to the development of new and existing regulations in order to enable a more modern, efficient and innovative construction sector.

The framework contains several principles for strategy implementation and operation as well as a follow-up and revision processes for the upcoming strategy periods. Furthermore, it contains a communication platform that becomes an important part in communicating with stakeholders and for anchoring the changes. Last but not least, the framework does also include a strategic roadmap – a general plan with objectives and milestones for navigation. The framework is a proposal and decision regarding use and adjustments lies with Samhällsbyggandets Regelforum.
