Bakgrund: Lekplatsen ska vara till för alla men offentliga lekplatser är inte alltid anpassade för barn med funktionsnedsättningars behov och förutsättningar, vilket kan leda till diskriminering. Syfte: Syftet med studien var att kartlägga faktorer som främjar eller hindrar delaktighet i lekaktiviteter på offentliga lekplatser för barn med funktionsnedsättning i åldern 0 – 18 år. Metod: En scoping review har genomförts. Sökningen gjordes i databaserna AMED, CINAHL, Medline, Psychinfo och Scopus därefter gjordes en manuell sökning i referenslistor. Tolv artiklar analyserades med hjälp av en numerisk- och en tematisk analys. Resultat: I analysen framkom det tre huvudteman och nio underteman där exempel på faktorer som påverkar barnens delaktighet identifierades. Huvudtemana handlar om brist på tillgänglighet till och på lekplatser, behov av mer kunskap hos myndigheter och lekplatsutvecklare samt trygghetsaspekter. Slutsats: Det framkom faktorer som främjar och hindrar barns delaktighet vilket kan orsaka en aktivitetsorättvisa. Ytterligare studier behövs för att en utveckling i samhället ska ske där barn med funktionsnedsättning inte blir diskriminerade. Implikationer: Arbetsterapeuter har en viktig roll i samverkan med andra professioner för att främja delaktigheten hos barn med funktionsnedsättning.   

Background: The playground should be available to everyone however, the public playgrounds are not always accessible to all children with disability needs and conditions, which can lead to discrimination. Purpose: The purpose of the study was to map factors that promotes or prevent participation in activities of play in public playgrounds for children with disabilities in the ages 0-18 years. Method: A scoping review has been done. Searches have been done in the databases AMED, CINAHL, Medline, Psychinfo and Scopus, after which a manual search was done in lists of references. Twelve articles were analysed with the help of a numeric and thematic analysis. Results: In the analysis three main themes emerged and nine subthemes where examples of factors that affects children’s participation were identified. The main themes are inaccessibility to and on playground, the need of more knowledge among authorities and developers of playgrounds as well as aspects of safety. Conclusion: In the research different factors emerged, that can promote or prevent children participation and cause occupational injustice. Further research is necessary for a development in society where children with disabilities are not discriminated. Implications: Occupational therapists have an important role in collaborations with other professions in order to increase the participation of children with disabilities.
